JSC TEHNOMET SURVEY, located in Klaipeda, Lithuania, provides ultrasonic thickness gauging of hull structures, which is required periodically for hull surveys. The company is approved by the following classification societies: LR, ABS, DNV, BV, RINA, GL, RMRS, NKK. Our company also holds LR ISO 9001 Quality Management Certificate.

      A new technology to measure the thickness of ship hulls can reveal corrosive attacks and other weakness earlier and more accurately than ever before.

     The new equipment, which consist of a hand-held instrument to measure the thickness of steel structures inside tank and holds, equipment like Krautkramer or Cygnus gauges which use very sophisticated technology and in most cases do not require chipping or grinding of the paint/coating for carrying out the thickness measurements.

      Our teams are qualified, well trained and experienced in this work. Our excellent, university graduated technicians/operators are well trained & certified according EN 473.

      Technicians are equipped with all necessary means and able to complete gauging and make up the report on board of a vessel during voyage.
