JSC Vakaru Cinkas, a company, which belongs to BLRT Grupp, operates for more than 35 years and performs high quality hot galvanization works.
In the beginning of 2004, JSC Vakaru Cinkas was modernized and new galvanization and other technological baths were acquired. The company has installed a new galvanization bath of the English company Hasco - Thermic Ltd.
In the beginning of 2009 a new and modern UAB ″Vakarø cinkas“ hot dip galvanizing plant, which will be the largest such purpose plant in the Baltic countries, starts its activity in Vilnius. The galvanizing line is outfitted with the most advanced Italian producers ”Gruppo Maccabeo Sri” equipment, conforming to the highest quality and most stringent environmental requirements.

The factory is equipped with 3 m depth and 1.6 m. width galvanizing bath, which technical characteristics allow to galvanize particularly bulky, i.e, even 13-meter long metal structures. Labour productivity shall reach up to 10 tons of metal structures per hour, so up to 18 000 tonnes of metal products will be galvanized per year.
Facilities are equipped with modern treatment plants: white smoke filters, acid vapour processing unit, acid flux and regeneration, and other equipment. Zincification is environmentally friendly process. Zinc coating is one of the most effective and environmentally safe ways to protect metal products from corrosion.
